Gîte Accommodation

Self catering holiday accommodation for up to 5 people

The interior of the gîte retains its French country style, character and charm, with exposed limestone walls and original chunky oak beams. On the ground floor, the living, dining and kitchen areas all have been floored with lovely terracotta tiles. Upstairs, the bedrooms have all been floored with nice wooden floor boards.

The gîte features rustic, but yet very cosy, open plan living, dining and kitchen areas. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin. A travel cot with mattress and bedding is also available. The bathroom and toilette are conveniently separate.

Living Area

The gîtes cosy living area features an eclectic mix of modern and antique seating with cushions, coffee table and a typical French sideboard for any storage requirements. There is an ornamental traditional French enameled stove - just don’t light a fire in it! The television sits atop of an unusual piece of antique furniture - answers on a postcard please! Although it is unlikely required, in the summer months, there is an electric radiator for near instant heat.

Entertainment facilities include a large flatscreen TV, satellite TV receiver for reception of TNT, a Blu-ray/DVD player and a selection of DVDs.

Dining Area

The gîtes dining area features traditional French country style furniture. There is a dining table and four dining chairs. Two modern highchairs are also available upon request. There is a large antique country buffet sideboard server, which houses all of the crockery etc. A second patio door conveniently leads to the shaded terrace area outside for dining al fresco. Although it is unlikely required in the summer months, there is an electric radiator which provides near instant heat. And hopefully never required, there is a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket.

Kitchen Area

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the usual appliances. Cooker with oven and hob, large fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, filter coffee machine and toaster. There should be plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and cooking utensils etc. However, we all cook differently and use different crockery and cooking utensils, therefore, if on arrival you feel something is missing, please let us know immediately and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements. Please don’t be polite and tell us on the last day! There are shelves and storage areas for your dry goods. The kitchen also features a lovely rustic artisan stone sink.

Double Bedroom

The gîtes double bedroom features a wardrobe to the side, with lots of clothes hangers and space for storing your baggage and suitcases etc. There is also a dressing chair and space for a travel cot, with mattress and bedding being provided. All bed linen and towels are provided. There is a nice wooden floor throughout. Although it is unlikely required in the summer months, there is an electric radiator which provides near instant heat.

Twin Bedroom

The gîtes twin bedroom features a chest of drawers, dressing table and mirror. There is also a dressing chair and space for a travel cot, with mattress and bedding being provided. All bed linen and towels are provided. There is a nice wooden floor throughout. Although it is unlikely required in the summer months, there is an electric radiator which provides near instant heat.
