Where is the gîte located?
The gîte is conveniently located on the edge of Saint-Antoine-d’Auberoche in La Farge, which is in Périgord Blanc and very close to the border of Périgord Noir, where most of the top tourist attractions can be found. For more information please see the page The Gîtes Location.
How do we reserve/book the gîte with you?

How do we get to the gîte?
It really depends on how you intend to travel (airplane, then car hire or own vehicle and channel crossing etc), so we have put some basic travel information on the website under How to get to the Gîte, so please read that first. Then once you have a proposed travel route/plan, let us know and we can send you some more details and any maps etc, if required. However, if all else fails, once you are in close proximity we will always try to meet you and then you can follow us to the gîte.
Where are the nearest shops, bars, cafés, restaurants, facilities and amenities etc?
For your day-to-day shopping and eating out requirements etc, we have made a good list of Local Shops, Bars, Cafés, Restaurants, Facilities & Amenities. We have also included medical & emergency information on the same page, hopefully not required though!
For your larger weekly shopping requirements and eating out, when you are out and about, we have also made a good list of Supermarkets, Hypermarkets and Restaurants.
Do you have any suggestions of what to see and do when we arrive?
Yes we do and all of the suggestions are places or attractions that we have visited once or twice and would probably return again to take our family and friends. Please see the page Things to See and Do. In addition to the suggestions provided, we have also compiled a general list of Tourist Attractions and Tourist Activities.
Are pets accepted?
Unfortunately, we no longer accept pets.
